About the Manufacturer – Rauta Erzgebirge Crafts
Founded in 1990 by Gabriele Günther, this family-run manufactory in Neuhirschstein, Saxony creates authentic Erzgebirge folk art with true craftsmanship. What began in 1979 as a small workshop making Christmas pyramids and Schwibbogen arches has grown into a proud company with a talented team of artisans.
Today, the second generation — Master Toymaker Frank Günther — continues the legacy with fresh ideas and his own innovative product line. His minimalist designs highlight the natural beauty of wood in clean, elegant forms.
From just a handful of pieces in the early years, Rauta now offers around 500 unique handcrafted creations. Each one brings a cozy glow and festive charm into homes — especially during Advent and Christmastime. Candlelight, slowly turning pyramid fans, and the familiar scent of incense truly capture the magic of winter moments, shared with loved ones or enjoyed quietly on your own.
